What a week it has been, dancing in the realm of global diplomacy at Associazione Diplomatici’s "Change the World Model United Nations CWMUN.” 🌐✨ The experience truly lived up to its name, altering my perspective not just on a global scale but on a deeply personal level as well. Stepping into the role of a delegate, I embarked on a journey that twisted my worldview, connecting me with souls I now can't imagine my life without. 🤝
Over the span of five days, I was swept up in a whirlwind of emotions—thrill, stress, joy, energy, and yes, even exhaustion. Yet, these words barely capture the depth of our resolution's potential impact on the world, and more significantly, the impact this experience and the connections I've forged have had on me. 🌪️❤️
Receiving an Honorable Mention was one of the most humbling and inspiring highlights of this journey. In an event that gathered over 4000 participants from more than 140 countries, this recognition is not just a personal accolade but a testament to the collaborative spirit and dedication of everyone involved. 🏅 Representing Belgium in the ILO committee, I delved into the intricacies of international labor laws and rights, engaging in discussions that were both challenging and enlightening. 🌍
The essence of this journey, however, lay in its moments of connection. Meeting the founder of Associazione Diplomatici Claudio Corbino opened my eyes to the power of vision and commitment. Our conversation was a treasure trove of insights, reminding me of the fuel that drives our collective pursuit of change. 💡
