Augmented Reality Experience Reflection What: My experience developing an Augmented Reality (AR) application for the Honors Seminar in Extended Reality involved crafting an innovative, interactive platform capable of accurately recognizing and dynamically responding to both images and physical objects in real-time. This immersive project required extensive learning across multiple domains—from mastering the technical fundamentals of AR technology, understanding programming frameworks, and deploying robust software solutions to comprehensive iterative testing, debugging, and refining user-experience designs. Collaborating closely with peers, I actively engaged in problem-solving sessions, critical analysis, creative ideation, and systematic innovation. Together, we navigated numerous technical and practical challenges, continuously adapting and improving our approaches to integrate seamless interactive digital experiences into real-world physical contexts.
So What: This journey significantly broadened my perspective, illustrating the profound influence immersive technologies can have on education, communication, cultural understanding, and social integration.
