Concept and feasibility
Prototyped a drone concept with solar artificial-leaf modules and bench-tested yield. Conducted feasibility interviews with industry engineers and revised materials and safety constraints ahead of a potential pilot.
The concept projected a 12% CO₂ reduction under a 25% solar-production duty cycle. This was a projection, not a measured deployment result.
Carbon Cap · Carbon Capture and Utilization
As part of this project, I led a five-person team developing Carbon Cap, a carbon capture and utilization concept. The team placed fourth in the 2021 Emirates Environmental Group competition.
We interviewed a process engineer at Shell to understand industrial challenges contributing to carbon accumulation. This was a project research interview, not employment at Shell.
The concept combined a carbon capture and utilization device with an apparatus intended to produce usable methane for natural-gas vehicles. Methane production and lower emissions were intended outcomes; no validated production or emissions-performance result is claimed.
