HoloLens 2 and workforce training
Delivered a HoloLens 2 application using Unreal and Python with voice and gesture interfaces. Partner demonstrations recorded a 23% increase in interaction events.
Supported industry engagement through demonstrations, documentation, and videos, contributing to three funded pilots and two collaborators. Completed lab work also included HoloLens workforce training.
Synthetic data and digital twins
Built a synthetic-data pipeline in Unreal Engine and NVIDIA Omniverse for human and object detection and 3D trajectories. The work included top-down reprojection into a 3D digital twin and LLM-generated summaries.
Completed BIM + AI work and participated in BIM user-group activities. These projects connected built-environment models, simulation, and interactive research tools.
Motion capture and digital humans
Completed work with Mocopi motion capture, Unreal, Kinect, and MetaHumans, exploring physical input and digital human representations.
Research communication
Contributed to Research Week and research demonstrations, documentation, and videos. Co-authored a book chapter published in 2024 and a journal article published in 2025; both are listed under Publications.
